One of the services that IMPACTO is able to provide to both the public and private sectors is environmental training. The workshops and courses listed below form part of the company’s portfolio.
Some training courses were:
- Intensive Course on Application of the Mitigation Hierarchy, including Biodiversity Offsets, held in Maputo, October 2021, at the request of BIOFUND-WCS.
- Training course on environmental issues in the extractive industry, aimed at auditors of the Administrative Court, held in Maputo, July 2018, at the request of GIZ-Program for the Strengthening of the Administrative Court.
- Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety Training Course for the workers of Manica Moçambique Terminais, held in Maputo City, in June 2006, at the request of Manica Moçambique Terminais.
- Course on Environmental Management for the Municipal Development Project and Decentralized Planning and Finance Program, held in Maputo, from 28 to 29 April 2005, at the request of the World Bank.
- Course on Environmental Management for the Municipal Development Project, held in Beira, from 18 to 22 July 2005, at the request of the World Bank
- Course on the environment and exploration for hydrocarbons. At the request of NORAD.
- Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety Course for Dockers of Terminais do Norte, held in the City of Nacala, from 20 to 22 September 2005, at the request of Terminais do Norte.
- Training on Integrated Pest Management, at the request of IRG/USAID;
- Workshop on Environmental Aspects in the Road Sector for ANE Consultants. In Nampula, from 2 to 4 June 2003 and in Bilene, from 9 to 12 June 2003, at the request of ANE.
